Credit has become a vital part of our everyday lives. Not only is credit needed to purchase a home or a car, students will find credit has become a part of the job interview process as well. Students who don’t understand the importance of credit could find themselves locked out of the job opportunities that have been their life long dream. During the workshop students will learn how credit is scored, the three credit reporting bureaus, who interest rates can impact monthly payments and how they can go about fixing credit problems. Many different banking products are available, and introducing students to these products early on can help them get familiar with their options. Student checking accounts, CD’s, and loans are some of the different products discussed. During this workshop students will cover the following topics:
